Irish summer is back

Gee, I thought that we were going to have a mediterranean summer... and I wake up this morning to the sound of waterfalls outside. And there is definately no waterfall outside the cite appartment! So I am just sitting here having my brekkie and half-soaked from this morning. What a great start... Garfield Hate Mondays classics comic strips.

Blogging @ work

My BF set up blogging at work now. All my logs which were wiki pages are from now on blogs! Categories really came in handy for subcatergorising each part of my projects. It's great! So much hassle-free time instead of wrangling with my wiki pages to make sure everything is readable...grr..structured text, it was fun for awhile until I have to re-edit until it came out right!

The process behind Zen Garden

My BF sent me on this link for The Zen Garden... the ultimate in using css design... well, it's cool, and gives you a taste of the more fancier advance things you can do with css... (Wonder what Neil thinks?)

Good Logos Site

Have a look and judge for yourself...GoodLogo!com - Top 250 - Category: Computers (1-5)
I like this site, as it shows general day-to-day logs, and shows the design cases for some of these. You can even submit a logo you like and see how it will get rated... Hmm, will I send in the new Java logo? Can't seem to find a decent one online, although, it does not look as nice the the old logo. (And what is Christina Aguilera doing promoting mobility and Java???)
Reg will be picking it up the new logo soon, I'll be on the look out...

Dreamcast as a firewall/router?!?

I wonder if Neil appreciates if his beloved Dreamcast was transformed into a Linux firewall/router? ;P

Saw this on OSnews - Turning the SEGA Dreamcast into a Linux Firewall/Router.
Some hilarious comments, and some bit of OsNews hostility, but it's a fun read.

Piracy in Ireland down, but not much

Well, if only prices if some s/w were reduced so some small businesses, ordinary folks can actually afford to buy them. Here's the article anyway...ElectricNews.net:News:Ireland's piracy rate is appalling: BSA
It was in breaking news in the Indo online, but I could not be bothered to link to it as you need to be registered to read it... so read it from enn.ie, it's free.
