And I thought I was bad

I was looking up online about areas around Dublin, where else to go initially? To boards.ie, of course. Anyhow, some of the posters have trouble composing a sentence or two (or more).

See this for example:

i must say swords aint reli rough but jesis d amount o wanabe scumbags round der is disgraceful haha i live in skeries meself quiet nuf but our own lil counsil estate mourne veiw isn a place ul go nyt or day in a hurry

Next reply:

Is your keyboard broken?

Then the following response was funny from another poster:

Translation: I must say, Swords isn't really rough, but Jesus, the amount of wannabe scumbags around there is disgraceful, haha. I live in Skerries myself. It's quiet enough, but our own little council estate, Mourne View, isn't a place you'd go, night or day in a hurry!

  • After witnessing an alien monster being smashed through several blocks of buildings by another monster in the name of fun and all in the comfort of your own home, this seems fun. The only drawback is that it's pretty expensive, EUR50 for a start box and EUR10 for extra random bits and bobs.

Kotaku's comp to win DSi

Ok, I'm not plugging Kotakus's competition to win a DSi, but if one wonders what to do to win one, all you have to do is answer "What did a Colorado University cheerleader called the cheerleading mode of Wii Music?".

Now Google search "What did a Colorado University cheerleader called the cheerleading mode of Wii Music?" and click on the first link, it should be Yahoo answers and read the responses.... Happy Friday!

You have to see it to believe it. I hope Apple is still slick in 20 years time.

Vaultboy puppet from PAX 2008

Vaultboy puppet from PAX 2008, originally uploaded by whykay.

So, Rory (http://twitter.com/r_geoghegan) is driving Mick bonkers 'caus his Fallout 3 is still making it's way over from UK. So I took this piccie of myself just now to cheer him up. We have a vaultboy puppet, and it's a collectable. :) Plus we saw some of the good bits with all the special unlocked stuff from the developers themselves at PAX this year. That was way cool and hilarious in parts as well.
