It's a Friday

There is a feeling that it's a Friday! First of all, I get the usual bus at the usual time into town (I'm lazy), and reading (as usual)... you get the idea. But somehow, I felt it seems like we were sitting in the bus longer than usual, and we were. 20 minutes and we were only just passed Collin's Barrack's (we got on at Parkgate St). Then I noticed a steady stream of people walking into town (you guessed it, more than usual). Many people were getting off the buses. Well, we decided to get off and walk, and what a sight. A snake of buses up and down the quays. My BF could have taken a pic, but we were walking and did not stop. First thing that came to our minds, was it a traffic accident? And why are the drivers so patient (no horning beeping!). And then we thought, could be "operation Free Flow"? Nah, not a sign of a Garda. But the traffic was moving, but not the buses. Well, it's a Friday, I should not be complaining. I should be just happy that it is the end of the week , and the weekend is rolling in soon. (The usual)

My bf does not like the idea of having a slappa in his pocket, but I don't think he would like these ipod socks either.

Access Key links and printing in Plone

Hmm, I have one issue with plone at the moment, and it's the amount of links it spits out (accesskeys) at the beginning of a printout of a page from plone.
I have tried printing tips from zwiki.org. Searches on google came up empty.
The generated links appear after the following <!-- always-available quick access keys -->.
It's in the body right before the first heading.

[UPDATE]
Check /Applications/Plone2/Sites/Default/Products/ZWiki/skins/standard/wikipage_macros.pt and add the hiddenStructure class.
Thanks to Mick for finding the file, I was way off, did not think of looking inside Products.

Landlords beware

Indo's article (free registration) that it's not enough that they buy and rent out property, if the property goes into disrepair will be sanctioned.

PROPERTY speculators who allow houses and apartments to fall into disrepair once rented out are to face sanctions under a radical overhaul of Dublin City Council's housing unit.

BTW, given I am a renter, I have no problems with our nice appartment. But I have been in far worse places.

Yay! It works!

My BF kindly did a bit of tweaking and got the Airport Express to work with our Netgear router Friday night down in Limerick. He has not posted how he manage to do it, but he will soon (there was alot of cussing, google-searching, re-configuring, and resetting the airport express that night). The signal is at its peak, and the router which was halfway outside my bedroom door (converted garage), can now be tucked back in without and signal degradation. Hip-hip... Hurray! *yay*

Weekend just flew

All in all, I have upgraded the IBC message board, and added a few new styles. Peeps can change if they want. Uploaded some pics for work, and also created the unofficial fight school board just for the sake of getting folks off the comment section of my one blog which ironically enough, was slagging it. All in all, was one heck of a busy weekend. Still got more pics to upload.

Nano-fun

Friend pointed me to this bunny site and this nanotech strip reminded me of hair-brain PHB's idea of a project project in Dilbert. *lol*

No iTunes for Ireland (yet)

That is so annoying. All this due to some issues with IMRO and now I am extra jealous that London Apple Store has finally announced their opening date.
