The world is nigh... but look on the positive side

With grim news of more layoffs, latest I just read in the Indo about Erricson laying off 300 people. At least the interest rate is due for another cut next month (doesn't stop me thinking about when interest rate and inflation willl sky-rocket in the near future).

Some good news, the Irish government is finalising a deal with mortgage providers to advise and hold out on legal proceedings if homeowners gone into arrears.

My husband and I are still house-hunting, it's a strange time for us. Getting a mortgage and a house when so many are losing their jobs, but let's not forget that there are new jobs created as well. The media is not helping with all their one-sided coverage.
