Ho-hum... I'm happy that Limerick are not as racist as I thought it was, considering that there has been a rise of verbal abuse in the past couple of years. But I am glad to hear the following news from Limerick Leader - August 2nd, 2003 - News - Racists quit.
I never thought of Ireland as racist, but then again, some comments that could be considered racist said towards me, I don't consider as such. "Be liberal in what you accept, conservative in what you send. " is my motto when dealing with people.
Posted by: Hasan Diwan on August 5, 2003 09:05 PMfunny. i've found ireland very overtly racist. but it's not an informed racism. it stems from a great deal of ignorance about other cultures and the outside world. there are great people here too, but i'm basing my observations off of life in highly populated forward-thinking urban centers.
