I'm currently at the airport waiting for my fiance's father to arrive from Milan. And guess what? I am using Eircom's wi-fi, and sipping semi-drinkable latte at the cafe near the meeting point in the arrival lounge. This is cool!
Visiting WoW Europe and saw something that might be useful to Mick (as he is a warlock)... 3 bugs found wrt Warlocks and something which he would not be appreciative of... PVP - opening moves Vs warlocks .
Wonder how good this Gamer's KB would be... or... what about this keyboard. Keys with OLEDs... wtf! How cool is that?!?

Sorta like dymos. Heh! I want one... I love labellers... I'll spend all day creating them. Now there is a Hello Kitty one !
Wow, back at home in Limerick. Sitting out back, listening to a wee bit of Hybrid, with my... Powerbook! And it's really cool, I can do a bit of work, web the interweb.
Summer is going great so far. Now if only it can last till beginning of August.
So my sim card was not being recognised by Vodafone alll night and early this morning. Rang them up last night, was told the support team comes in at 8am. So I rang a little after 8am this morning, explained my situation. Told to switch off my phone, while they disconnect/reconnect whatever doohickey it is to recognise my sim card. And hey presto, I was able to receive and make calls. Vodafone support are brill!
Well, went to Vodafone shop today. Switched from 02 and gave in my old mobile phone, and it knocked 100 off! So it only cost me 99 in the end. But now O2 has not swtiched me over yet, so my sim is not being registered on Vodafone network yet. I'll just have to wait.
Hmm, will I or won't I? Pay-as-you-go (Ready-to-go) or bill pay I mean. Make the switch to Vodaphone?
Very tempted. Got their brochure today, and also checked out Nokia 6680. Really nice in real life. Plus I can finally do some funky Python programming on this series 60 phone. Ho-hum...
Some review to chew on (well, glance over... Mick read most of them. ).

The funny thing was, I am on 02 Pay-as-you-go (From Esat Digifone days). And I need to use up my call credit... Was trying to check how much was left, after a few "Service is not available" from "#100*", it was about 14'ish. Mick and Jo was actually laughing when I could not find how much I had left! It was like O2 knew I was on the verge of switching to Vodafone. I never realised how much I use on my phone at the moment... between 40 and 60 a month! I should hopefully save some money after the swtich.
So I have gathered my paperwork, and will check out the Vodafone shop, and see what they offer me. It should be no more than 279, I think. Since I will be connecting first time. I shall have to see. So much for not using my plastic!
Using google image search DB widget, I can see this going horribly wrong! Why? Cos this just reminds me of a work collegue looking up "waterfall model" via google. (He was looking up buzzwords!) Well, he was finding a hard time trying to find the "technical" information from the searches...
Music, so many different genres. Me, I myself enjoy many types. But I still enjoy good breakbeat dance music. Trying to explain to a metalhead who just replied "I don't know anything about your breakbeat", and proceed to talk guitar to his mate.
Anyhoo, found this from good ol' wikipedia.. breakbeatBreakbeat (breakbeats or breaks), are a collection of sub-genres of electronic music, chiefly exemplified by drum and bass and jungle, usually characterized by a non-straighted 4/4 drum pattern (as opposed to the steady beat of house or trance).
Austrian cops to ordered to fine themselves
You know, everytime I see a Garda speeding without the sirens on, or when they double-park (even triple), friends laugh at me when I say... they should fine themselves. If only I suppose. But if it was like that Austrian incident, it would be a idea. Heh!
Saaw this article about tree hotel that's just opened. So unusual. But for £100 to £150 a night! But it does seems popular.
