Google's explanation to what happened to Gmail

I'm sure most people have been affected by the outage, and here's their explanation on why it happened.

Initially I was wondering what affect this would have on gmail users, expecially business users, but Mick commented that it's barely a blip when it comes to corporate outages, which come to think of it, is true. I remember day long outages several times a year, and it happens to both large and small companies that I've worked for. So two outages and only a few hours each is not that bad for one year. It certainly hasn't stopped me using it.
