Today's journey home was as arduous as trying to eat udon noodles in soup with chopsticks (yes, even I have trouble sometimes). Waited over 45 minutes for the darn 16/16a (thanks, Dublin Bus).
My brother was kind enough to inform me that the LUAS was in a crash and the red line was offline (for my leg of the journey home). But as I walked down to Jervis St from the Southside, I only then realised that the LUAS was out of commission. I know, I know, my brother called me about it, but I was on auto-pilot, and just ended at the LUAS stop. Anyhoo, I walked home, I did not want to get the 'lovely' Dublin Bus (see above). So after 2 hours, I made it home, quite a trip considering that it normally takes at least 1 hour for me to get from Rathfarnham to Parkgate St with our ever so reliable Dub transport. Again, I would like to thank Dublin Bus for a fantastic job of not doing their job properly.
