Some stuff I came across and did not get around to comment about it...
- Python in codejam
Finally, Google's Codejam includes Python. I was wondering why Google (who is a big support of Python) left it out in the first place.
- Parent-controlled Leopard
Future Leopard young users will be annoyed with this. Parents should not have to resort to methods like this, I think just pulling the plug is the same thing. It's all down to proper parenting anyway.
- LCD torture
What I wouldn't give to be able to work on my laptop out back (down in Limerick, that is), or anywhere else when it is sunny out, and give up because of all the sun's glare on the screen makes it impossible to read anything. Squint all you can, it's not going to make any difference.
- Firefox alien invaders
I just like the picture.
- Lightening strikes
A really good picture of a lightening striking a wee boat.
- Comics, lots of comics to download
Ok, some not very well-know comics... still grinning at "Man-Bat", for some reason I am thinking of "man-bag" (reference from Friends).
- Hackers are not just kids
Go girl (or in this case, woman) power!
- On the implausibility of the explosives plot.
Mick sent me on this link and it's quite a good read. The guy gives a good humorous critique on this whole explosive plot thing, that has brought Heathrow to a standstill recently.
