[My Own Stuff] My site was 3 years old yesterday

Ok, nothing phenomenonly is going to change (for now)... heh. So, enough of the celebrations... wha..?

Anyhoo, I have uploaded 2 pics to my flickr and I am wondering why I don't use it to add the pics to my blog?!? Well, I have it set up for all my blogs including my current experimental photo blog.

Privacy is only to people who are registered with Flickr. I want to be able to send a special password to folks and let them view the pics, and not have everyone in the general public see them. Plus I like them to be on my site, as I have been stung so many times by photo sharing sites over the years, and I keep losing my pics I carefully selected.

I don't like to upload by hand and man-handling, that is why my older photo site is a bit dormant. Given how easy it is with blogs nowadays. But I don't like to upgrade to MT3.0, and wordpress has a nifty plugin which I use, but still, does not have the sharing permissions ability that I want. I tried using httaccess but because of the nature of the plugin, for each pic, it asks for p/w (if you don't enter it correctly)! That is a tad annoying. You should be allowed to see the post or not. Plus it's Perl and PHP for the blogs aformentioned respectively.

So do I have a cunning plan...? That is for me to know and you to find out.
